That base of your neck is known as Feng Fu, which is the pressure point at your skull’s base just right at the end ridge of your skull cap and right at the top of your neck. Once you have found your Feng Fu, you need to put the ice cube there for just a few moments and you will see the benefits. Of course, you need to do this regularly in order for you to become healthier, more cheerful, and full of energy.
What You Need to Do
As mentioned, this is very simple and easy. Start by lying on your stomach first, but make sure you are comfortable. Now, place the ice cube at the pressure point, Feng Fu, which is described above. Be steady and hold the ice for 20 minutes. If you find the ice too cold for your hand, you can use a bandage, plastic wrap, scarf, or anything that will hold the ice there for the said amount of time.
You will need to do this ice cube technique regularly, particularly during the morning when you just woke up and you haven’t had breakfast or drink yet. You should also do this at nighttime before you go to bed. You don’t have to do this every day. In fact, it is recommended that you take two to three days of break for the activity.
When you put the ice at the base of your neck, you will feel a bit of heat coming to the Feng Fu point just after 30 to 40 seconds. This sensation should not worry you as it can help release endorphins, giving you a euphoric feeling.
